How Much Do Derksen Portable Buildings Cost?

Derksen has a lot of different kinds of buildings, so we will cover each one and give a quick description of the prices for the different sizes. Metal buildings are more expensive but urethane, painted, and treated buildings all cost the same. We will note the cost for each type in the sections.

(Note: These lists have prices for the most popular sizes. For more sizes, see Deksen’s official website).

Lofted Barn

The lofted barn is the simplest model and is a standard barn structure with an interior second-floor loft. The lofted barn is a very simple design and is considered the basic building model that Derksen offers. The doors are located on the long-facing end of the building so it is designed like a traditional red-door barn.

Urethane, Treated, Painted

  • 10’ x 20’ – $6,730

  • 16’ x 32’ – $16,785
  • 16’ x 50’ – $25,890

Metal

  • 8’ x 12’ – $4,525
  • 10’ x 20’ – $8,090
  • 12’ x 24’ – $11,165
  • 14’ x 30’ – $16,215
  • 16’ x 32’ – $20,180
  • 16’ x 50’ – $31,155

Side Lofted Barn

The side lofted barn is similar to the lofted barn except for one major difference: the door is located on the long horizontal side of the building so you have more space to open the doors.

Otherwise, the side lofted barn is the same as the lofted barn and has the same kind of interior features. The side lofted barn model also has windows along the horizontal sides next to the double doors.

Urethane, Treated, Painted

  • 8’ x 12’ – $3,960
  • 10’ x 20’ – $6,930
  • 12’ x 24’ – $9,485

  • 16’ x 32’ – $16,985
  • 16’ x 50’ – $26,090

Metal

  • 8’ x 12’ – $5,850
  • 10’ x 20’ – $9,155
  • 12’ x 24’ – $12,095
  • 14’ x 30’ – $17,915
  • 16’ x 32’ – $21,370
  • 16’ x 50’ – $32,865

Utility

The utility shed is a simple structure mostly meant for storage and other small-to-medium projects. The utility shed is a 4-wall structure with a sloped roof and front double doors. It does not have the lofted space of the barn so it doesn’t have as much space. The utility model is great as a tool shed or for storing out-of-season equipment like bikes or boating gear,

Urethane, Treated, Painted

  • 8’ x 12’ – $3,390
  • 10’ x 20’ – $6,035
  • 12’ x 24’ – $8,045
  • 14’ x 30’ – $12,715
  • 16’ x 32’ – $15,170
  • 16’ x 50’ – $23,300

Metal

  • 8’ x 12’ – $2,880
  • 10’ x 20’ – $5,115
  • 12’ x 24’ – $6,830
  • 14’ x 30’ – N/A
  • 16’ x 32’ – N/A
  • 16’ x 50’ – N/A

Side Utility

The side utility shed is much like the plain utility shed. Like the side barn, the side utility shed model has the door on the long horizontal side.

The side utility shed is great for storing larger pieces of equipment like riding lawn mowers, ATVs, buggies, and other similar-sized objects. The side utility shed models are generally larger than the plain utility shed models so you will need more space to place them.

  • 16’ x 32’ – N/A
  • 16’ x 50’ – N/A

Cabin

The cabin model shed is a bit more luxurious and features a deck on the long-end side next to the door. The cabin model is a good choice if you need an exterior dwelling space or want a private space where you can hang out and store things. The cabin model also has a deck out front so you can sit.
